GIORGIA NARDIN (Venezia)

All dressed up with nowhere to go [40’]

An empty picture frame, a male body, a female body and a set of small daily actions torn from reality and embedded in a ethereal background, private of the passing of time and its voracity. All dressed up with nowhere to go, first choreographic work of Giorgia Nardin, is a work suspended between ambiguity and transformation that takes its cue from the times of passage through each life. Being well dressed without knowing where to go: to destroy the linearity of the time, the idea of a beginning and an end. The bodies of the performers are on stage redolent of matter consumed by a “political” sentiment that runs through them all from head to toe and that implode into a center of gravity hidden to the eye, in slow motion, in nakedness, in an imposition – reassuring as cruel – reality (Matthew Antonaci).
