Walk is based on Mark Chagall’s paintings and has a very experimental character. In front of the spectator inside the black room of the stage we see a miniature of the megalopolis, made by carton, wallpaper and match boxes, a city that tell us stories that hypothetically could be happened with a hero of Chagall’s picture “before” it was drawn by the Master. We hear the sound of wind and squeak of a wicket.
Gradually a ray of light becomes visible in the darkness; slowly it is wandering through the landscape and all of a sudden focalizes on one of the match boxes. Each story requires detailed workup, but all elected pictures are united by mutual theme – eluding Love. Bemused by rhythm of XXI century, surrounded by atmosphere of megalopolis, being constantly absorbed by swollen Ego, Love becomes more fragile and elusive, therefore more and more essential in life, more and more needful and indispensable for human hearts.
