From November to February Inteatro hosts in Villa Nappi the young artist Helen Cerina working on the project “Dentro leggermente sopra”. The project was thought at the beginning as a collaboration with the dancer Francesca Gironi.The “first steps” of the project began in 2011 in the frame of Nottenere Residenze.
For Helen Cerina, choreographic art means to put in relations dance with other forms of arts. She earned a diploma in Cartoon Cinema at the Art Institute in Urbino and she attended the BA (Hons) Dance Theatre at the Trinity Laban College of London. In 2007 she had a grant for the Dancewebeurope in Vienna, continuing in 2009 her formation at the Choreoroam, a projet of artistic growth present in different counties: – Operaestate Festival Veneto/CSC – Regione Veneto – The Place in London – Dansateliers in Rotterdam – Dansescenen in Copenhagen-Paso a-2/Certamen Coreogràfico de Madrid – Dance Week Festival/Zagreb Dance Center. She was among the artists hosted in Reiss Arti Performative in Tourin and Daghdha Dance Company Ltd in Limerick (Irlanda) while she was working both alone and in with other choreographers. In 2008 she has been picked out from the Vetrina della Giovane Danza d’Autore of Ravenna, entering also in 2011 and 2012. In 2010 she won the “Nuove Sensibilità” prize with the show Dulcis in pomerio. She collaborated for three editions of the Festival Nottenera and now she’s involved in the creation of How, a show co-produced with the company Euroballetto. In October she took part in Game with the project Iperrealismi, a contest for the emerging companies from Marche.
Helen Cerina is also a part of “Matilde”, a project by the region of Marche and Amat.
